LO> One of the other questions that I had is this...I take Phoenix out in
LO> my backyard with me. (in his cage) Naturally he is given fruits and
LO> treats etc. during the time we are out. I've noticed on more than one
LO> occassion Phoenix doing battle with a yellow-jacket. A couple of times
LO> he almost caught one by biting at it as it flew by him. What would
LO> happen if he caught one in his mouth or if one stung him? (other than
LO> say "ouch"...I figured I'd throw that in before I received some
LO> wise-guy answers ) I've never heard anyone talking about this
LO> or read anything about insect bites and how it affects them. I hope you
LO> don't think I'm off the wall...I was just wondering if its something
LO> that I should be concerned about.
As best I could tell my Blue and Gold once ate a bee with no ill effect.
Not even an OUCH! It happened so quick I couldn't stop it and I'm not
positive he got it but it sure seemed that way.
