Adam Pawlus' Star Wars Newsletter Update

Well, first up, Hasbro has updated their website with new questions in their
FAQ section. Rather than copy them here, visit the site at:
http://starwars.hasbro.com.
They addressed the vehicles concern and there is a good explanation of why
we aren't seeing dozens of ships in stores. So visit already. You'll be glad
to know that it looks like a dozen figures that haven't been named yet are
coming in 1998! Of course, this includes promotional stuff, but hey, it's
better than nothing right? Right???

OH ME OH MY...!!!
(from www.ign64.com... go there for the rest of the info)
Today it was announced that Nintendo has released the title of the next
LucasArts developed Star Wars title: Rogue Squadron. Now, you're probably
asking "when and... aw, forget it, just WHEN?" IGN64 reports late '98. This
would be an excellent way to get Star Wars back in the minds of a good chunk
of the audience before Epsiode One arrives in theatres. And besides, it's
Rogue Squadron. You know Wedge has got to be in there some where, be it
based on films, comics, or novels.
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
So, now we know about Force Commander (PC), Yoda Stories (GB from THQ), and
Rogue Squadron (N64). I would guess that at least one PlayStation and one
more PC title are in the works as well, but we might now know for certain
before E3 in Atlanta this May.
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
The new Galoob Micro Machines vehicles packs and figure packs are now
available in stores, so keep your eyes peeled. The Bounty Hunter set is
especially nice.
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
Well... remember all the info and discussion about the Atari classic arcade
SW games? Once again: http://www.digitaleclipse.com is the web site to
Digital Eclipse, the company that developed the awesome-and-especially-fun
Arcade's Greatest Hits series for Saturn and Playstation (including the
second Atari one... it's good, BTW.) Well, I decided to mosey on down to
their web site to see the voting, and Star Wars - once with only about 20
votes - now has over 70. So if you haven't visited already, hey, do so. SW,
ESB, and ROJ arcade compilations: who knows if we netziens can help make it
happen? (I sure hope so - it'd be nice to have something better than my
Atari 2600 version of the arcade game...)

Where's ASWN #29?
Delayed until it's done, pure and simple. Thanks for your patience.
