Thats odd.  AF chow now is normally good stuff.

Things change.  When we had closed messes, CPO food was definately 'best' and
even now, it's got extras we buy with our CPO Mess money to augment things. 
Most common problem then was the Marines wouldnt kick in the same share of
money but eat up all the goodies.  Not all of them mind you and some groups
were really good about it, but now and then you'd have to lock the goodies up
til they left.
