Subject:  Underlines a thing of the past!                            
Here's something novel for all you know-it-alls from "One who 
wants to know" (grin!)
Applying styles destroys underlining - but only at certain times 
of the day!
At two minutes before Noon, start a new document based on the Normal 
style. key in a short paragraph. Underline one word (Ctrl-Shift-
Left arrow, Ctrl-B) on the paragraph.
At one minute before Noon, demote the paragraph, using the 
Shift-Alt-Right arrow method. The underlining stays in place.
Wait two minutes, then re-underline the word, and change the 
style to "Heading 1" by Format, Style, choose "Heading 1" and 
Apply. The underlining disappears!
