heh heh. Might I suggest: Gentle Giant's "Freehand" or "Playing the
Fool." Much more bass & guitars than ELP plus violas, etc., yet heavy,
and easy on the synth. Now if you LIKE synth, might I suggest a dude
much closer to your home, France's Jean Michel Jarre. Or if you
prefer real heavy guitar, drums, bass go for the most recent King
Crimson configuration, an album such as "Thraak." If all these boar
you, move on. There are lots of other interesting styles of music
besides prog-rock.

Beats me; I have lots of old vinyl of good music that I NEVER listen
too, it's all CD's for me now. Vinyl is too much of a hassle, too
delicate, too fragile, too BIG. And once it's scarred, marred,
scratched or blemished, that's the end of it.

p.s. Say.....................I'm 75 percent Dutch ancestry myself. My
grandparents names were Hake, Van Atta, Doubt, and Doyle. Guess which
one is Irish; my surname, Doyle. So my kids are one-eighth Irish and
yet have an Irish surname. We are all mongrels here in the USA. Long
live the human genetic melting pot - it's the key to diversity and
evolution.
