That could.  But it'd put the constitution class Kongo in the position of
being "The only ship in the Sector" again.  And I bet some Ane
Defense Force Admiral would have to fall on his sword about that.

My bet would be that the Kongo has a pretty capable escort with her at all
times,  lurking just out of sight.
