   G'day Marcus,
ML> I have just receieved my copy of TSE PRO 2.5, and I must
ML> say, this program does everything except wash the dishes..
Try; Hook(_ON_FIRST_EDIT_, mWashTheDishes) in your WhenLoaded! ;)
ML> This is directed to someone at SemWare....
 You might find it more convenient to e-mail one of the
 support team;
George.De.Bruin@semware.com
Sammy.Mitchell@semware.com
Kyle.Watkins@semware.com
Richard.Blackburn@semware.com
Steve.Watkins@semware.com
 Or, to get on the TSE mailing list, send a blank e-mail to;
tsepro.add@semware.com
 I find the list quite useful, there is some good discussion up
 there and thankfully not a great deal of traffic (or noise).
 The Semware WEB server is at;
http://www.semware.com
 or the FTP server - for some great macros and ideas;
ftp://ftp.semware.com
ML> I was editing the TSE.UI file to customize TSE, and found
ML> that I could not redefine for some reason. It
ML> does not appear under the showkey macro either... Is there
ML> some reason for this??
In my v2.0 is OK and returns a scancode of 8442(dec)
for it, try binding something simple to the key number in your UI
to see if that works, e.g:
    Toggle(WordWrap)
I find the method handy in order to utilise the "extra" key on my
102 keyboard.
(I suppose you're aware that you need to have; Use Enhanced.. Equate
Enhanced.. Use Extended keyboard Driver.. all set to "ON" to get the
extended key combos).
ML> Also, I name some files with a '-' as the first character,
ML> to indicate to me that they are important and should not be
ML> deleted. This has caused some problems...
ML> One file I have is called -RAPATH.BAT, which is my path statement.
ML> When I try editing from the command line, TSE asks if I
ML> wish to SAVE or RESTORE state... While only a small
ML> problem, it is annoying as I have had to rename these files
ML> for easy access.
The minus char should never be used in filenames because it's
actually a valid command line switch character.
(one of the golden old rules of DOS! :-)
I don't have TSE 2.5 but I think I recall discussion that it
incorporates a save/restore state feature and if so may be bound
to a -R command line switch, is that correct?
   regards rt@
