subject: Serial I/O using C++ objects

No, there are plenty of books that give serial I/O...I don't know if they
include fossil driver support though.

What I am talking about is a BBS chat program like so many already out. I
know that it can be done in dos via file sharing, but I don't know how to do
that, or if there is a better way. I would like to stay in DOS if at all
possible...as far as I know, most versions of Windows, OS/2, and even some
unix have dos emulators. Plus going to a multi-tasking system would mean I
would need a library or something like it for the platform.
Thanks alot for the help,
Steve Westcot
