|-----------------| Regarding DUMB@SS
|Huhuhuh... What are you on? Have you had a bad trip lately? These
|companies are mortal enemies! They have NEVER gotten along! Even when
|they were together back in the late-eighties/early-nineties, they never
|got along! I can still remember all the lawsuits and arguments they
|had during the Wolfenstein incident. Apogee has always stolen things
|from id. The Wolfenstein incident, of course, was over the game engine,
|but anyway, Apogee wouldn't have ever had Duke Nukem without id. Does
|anyone here still remember a little game by the name of Commander
|Keen? Apogee wanted that character, couldn't get it, so made a replica
|with a different image. Ever noticed how DN 1 & 2 were surprisingly
|like CK? And what about another of Apogee's failures, Jazz Jackrabbit?
|Entertaining game, just never got off the ground. Anyway, very poor
|form saying they are friends. These people/companies are enemies
|on not only a business level, but also a personal level. Each have
|their own vendetta's... Now, let's get something clear, I think
|Apogee sucks, but 3d Realms is cool. Apogee has never been good with
|mascots. It took them LOTS of money to acquire 3d Realms. And notice
|3d Realms made Duke what he is today, not Apogee. Alright, I'm finished.
|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
You are wrong. That's as much as I will say on this. You are flat out
wrong on an awful lot of these points you raise.
Jazz Jackrabbit IS NOT EVEN OUR GAME! Sheesh.
