subject: TAPE AVAILABILITY

A thought occurred to me. Would it be legal for someone who wishes to have a
copy of, say, TROOPS on videocassette to send a blank videotape to the
producers, and they would put a copy on that tape, and send it back? No money
would change hands, and no profit would be made. This is the way it is
frequently done over in the Anime echo, where I sort of lurk. The other thing
that's commonly done is for someone to send just enough money along to cover
the cost of a tape, and postage, in order to obtain a copy of what they want.
But I don't think that would satisfy the legalities here.
