C'mon Paul, think about it. The ?'s replace a single character. How can
a spec of "MSQ3??.*" (base filename of 6 characters) possibly
match "MSQ304D.ZIP" (base filename of 7 characters).
You could always do the obvious thing, and change the magicname spec to
the actual filename.
