"UGH!" sounds like the right response. I've never had that
happen before. I've had "I can't figure out where this is going"
and "man does this idea suck" and even "I don't give a crap
about this piece of material anymore", but what you've got sounds bad.
You say you've got it outlined, and you know what happens, right?
Maybe this will work, instead of writing it as prose, just write it out in
play or screenplay form and only write the dialogue. Something like this:
(Don't pay any attention to the content below, I'm just demonstrating
form.)
Howard- Hey, did you hear Ami and I are getting married?
Tim- You don't say?
Li'ira- When the hell did this happen?
- - - - -=20
You can then go back and add the prose around the dialogue later.
I hope this helps. If not, the only other thing I could suggest is to
write anything else, the less related to ST-OM the better,=20 and see if at
some point the distraction unblocks the ST-OM flow.
I hope things improve for you, Jay.
