You can't be serious, disable 8.3 filenames, disable last updated
updating,
and disable some perfmon counters and this is supposed to be "finely
tuned"?
That's like removing the spare tire, sun visors and wool seat covers and
claiming you reduced the weight of the car so it's faster.
I could make more of a difference tweaking the RWIN value and disabling
non-essential services.
