From what I can decode from my ASCII Chart that is an Apple IIGS.

I remember seeing the ][ symbols on a old Apple ][ a friend had.
Isn't that the character the C9's should be replaced by? 

First I tried looking at a PET ASCII Chart but had to go to a regular
ASCII Chart to translate the Hex Code that You used.

Maybe the Apple ][GS uses a different version of the ASCII Code as
Commodore does???
