I still scan the messages on both RC echoes everyday but I don't have a lot 
new to say so you don't hear much from me. My primary modeling activities 
involve projects which have been described here in the past.
 
I remain very active in the ship and sub end of the hobby. Our informal club 
gets together for a sail at least once a week and twice weekly if the weather 
allows. As you know, the DALLAS is complete and has sailed several times so 
there isn't much more to say about it. My big (60") minesweeper HMCS WINNIPEG 
is my most active vessel (because it is easier to transport than the 90" 
DALLAS). Recent modeling has involved the adding of scale details to the 
ship: a forward gun turret a couple of weeks ago and the addition of a tripod 
mast just yesterday. But the RC guts have long since been completed so, 
again, not much to report. Actually the WINNIPEG is currently sitting on my 
living room coffee table.
 
I'm afraid I've let my RC flying slide. Logistics problems (place to fly) 
coupled with a heavy schedule of RC boating. However, I still have that 1/3 
cub on the go and have promised several people that I intend to resume work 
on it shortly (framing is 85% complete).
