Yes and also a letter to the airline and perhaps an official
complaint to the f.a.a. and such.
How he got on the wrong flight is clearly the airline's screw up.
Reminds me of one trip I was on where a self-appointed busy body
handed me my boarding pass and said I'd need it to get back
through security if I wanted to leave the gate area.
I wasn't planning on leaving the gate so completely forgot where
I put the card. Man did the gate person or stewardess crap her
pants! I got on the plane and they had no idea which seat I was
to have. Should have said I was booked into First class. Seems
they don't have easy access to their passenger manifest or
passenger list when boarding.
All in all, I think I got my money's worth of amusement out of
it. Moral of the story is to let someone who claims they will
look after everything keep their end of the bargainup.
Once in a while I got an adverse reaction from a seat-mate about
having a dog with me. My standard response was if they didn't
like it, they were free to discuss it with the captain as he is
responsible for all matters affecting the aircraft.
... My hard disk is full! Maybe I'll try this message section thing.
