Harvey:
I think you should file formal written complaints about the
airline's passenger assist contractor with:
-The airline(s) you were flying on
-the firm itself
-the f.a.a. and
-the airport operators e.g. Port Authority of whatever or Chicago
Department of Aviation.
Also, how you got on an international flight without a passport
and your ticket being looked at beats me. The actual airline
really screwed up on that one. Hey you might enjoy it in Japan.
The airline will get fined a zillion dollars for having someone
on a flight without proper immigration papers for japan (Japanese
government will fine them) and if you are inconvenienced or
suffer economic loss in any way, you can sue the pants/skirt off
the Airline, security firm, airport operator, f.a.a. and everyone
else around. Not sure if you can force the airline to let you
off by making an emergency landing.
Saying you are ill with cholera, bubonic plague or anthrax might
do it though.
Hey in Chicago, some flights from Canada arrive at the
International terminal of O'Hare and it is one heck of a long
walk to U.S. customs. The terminal has electric wagons but the
airlines don't run them prior to around noon or 2 p.m. when most
of the international flights arrive or depart. Weird eh?
... Reality-ometer: [\........] Hmmph! Thought so...
