HI david and thanks for your reply, regarding my problem i will explain
to you in this way.
let's say that i have a table that store telephone numbers and their
kind like (fax of telephone).  i have build a form with two kind of
control a text box that refer to memory variable.  and a grid control
that refer to the above mentioned table.   so, if i entered for example
6677555 in the text box i want the grid control to display to me only
and all the records that have the same telephone no.
i hope that i have explained to you what i want in a good way.  and i
appreciate your help very much.
