None of this between the lines stuff. It is possible to read anything you
ant
"between the lines".
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE STATED HCI GOALS.
The silence is deafening.

Well, I hate to join the crowd dumping on dtf, because last year I mostly
agreed with him because I don't like to be coerced into joining or
agreeing with any particular group. However, on this issue, dtf is
just simply out to lunch. Reading between the lines is part of being
an adult intelligent thinking reader. If you don't do it, you are being
very naive. The "secret" letter looked to me like it was entirely
correct in terms of representing such a groups agenda and marketing/
fund-raising plans. Do you think any activist group will simply
go away once they achieve this year's goals? No, they will have next
year's plan, a five year plan, a ten year plan, etc.
Does anyone know if it is true that most criminals obtain their
guns at gun shows? I wonder. Of course, most criminals probably
obtain their cars at used car lots also. Does it really mean anything?
Does the NRA have a comprehensive plan for reducing the number of
gun-related deaths in the U.S.? This is the single biggest threat to
our right to own guns (yes, I own powder-burners too). I don't feel
that our highly urbanized society (yep, even here in Idaho) will
long continue to tolerate such numbers. When two thirds of the
people want to, they can even amend the second amendment. Us gun
owners have to become part of the solution or we will most likely
be disposed of and dismissed as part of the problem. Let's hear
some ideas about how to reduce gun deaths and criminal use of guns!
