Jim -
The original cables were gray "audio patch" (used for audio
until "premium" cables came along) cables about 36" long.
One of these cables had a small label "INJ". It looked
identical to the rest, except the insulation in the phono
connectors was white instead of the phenolic (brown) color
of the others. I believe that later cable sets may have ALL
been "INJ" quality (low capacitance) cable, eliminating the
need to label them. Only way to determine this would be to
measure the capacitance.
RG-62 is usually black, and closer to the size of your TV
cable (RG-6) coax. It is considerably larger than the
original cables and much less flexible. I have seen RG-62
cable in colors other than black that was sold for the
computer market, but I don't think I have seen gray.
