It would do more good to ban all out door lighting except for safety reasons.
Tell Las Vegas to pull the plug on the lights on the strip.
Turn off lighted bill boards all over the country.
Ban night games at stadiums. The power used to light the field could keep
several homes powered for a week.
If you are SERIOUS about man helping out the Global warming problem, doing
away with a few fireplaces that get used a few times a year, is nothing
more than feel good legislation.
