Well considering that Mike Holmes is a Canadian Contractor   90% of those
shows are done around the Greater Toronto Area, with some done around the rest
of Canada.  There have been a few shows in the USA, notably New Orleans, and
somewhere in California.  I assume there may have been a few more.

Indeed.  Again, because it is mostly in a highly populated area, the cost of
even older homes is expensive.
