Obtain Binkley 2.50 or BTPE from somewhere (3:711/934 has them
for FREQ) for example code for someone tackling this task.  I
would say that it depends on the size of your file.  If it is a
10k file, I would do an fseek() on the file to find the length,
or store the length upfront, and then do a malloc, and then 
read the entire file in at once (to avoid memory fragmentation
cf linked list).  BFN.  Paul.
