I think it is often underestimated within the men's movement as to what the
production of a non-intrusive form of male birth control would do to advance
the reproductive freedom of men; and it is also underestimated, as this gets
closer to reality, how opposition to this is going to mount from feminist
groups despite talk about "It's about time men took the burden on."

First: Gone will be the accidentally-on-purpose "Ooopses." This will make
entrapment pregnancies and paternity fraud things only perpetuated on
terminally stupid men.

I'm not saying that even that is right, but let's be honest. Stupid is
stupid. One of our goals has been to get rid of one-sided pseudo-chivalry;
this means we must change attitudes and no longer give anything but scorn to
those who practice such "stiff-upper-lip and suck it up" to
"do the right
thing" false machismo.

The ball, then, will be in our court to educate ourselves and our sons to
take this on and prevent being sucked into marriage and/or fatherhood before
we are ready, or to be nailed with a lifetime of support for a one-night
stand. While a hundred percent of eligible males (who choose not to be
fathers) taking such a thing would be nice, numbers in excess of 60% will
make fishing for a rich daddy no longer practical.

Up till now, gents, birth control has largely been a thing of trusting the
female to do, and while not each woman is a scheming and conniving bitch,
we've all seen and known the "I hate condoms, I'm on the pill, don't put
that on, YOU DON'T TRUST ME! (Insert tearful scene here.)" With Male Birth
control, especially of the non-intrusive sort, there is a "trust but
verify"
scenario, and a requirement to be negotionated with, on equal terms, for
parenthood.

It's the latter that is going to drive the feminazis absolutely insane with
rage. The last thing in the world they will want is to be forced to treat
with a man as an equal, especially with the Mommy Industry being so
lucrative. All of these professional incubators who live on welfare and
child support may well be forced to find real jobs and stop being
parasites - or become real women, and actually have to give to get.

Expect claims of sexism. Expect, especially in the minority community,
whispers that such things cause irreversible damage. Expect demands for more
testing so as to drive up the price of it. Expect opposition to approval.
Expect "Spousal Notification" laws. Expect pooh-poohing. Expect character
assassination of men who take it.

Even more - how much do you want to bet that the first time some wanna-be
rich trollop sleeps with a sports star, turns up pregnant, and finds out
he's on the male pill, disputes parentage, and has his refutation borne out
by DNA that there will be some kind of lawsuit if he failed to inform her so
she could make an "advised choice" (or worse, a claim of rape
because "I'd
have never slept with him if I knew he couldn't get me pregnant") or
something along those lines.

You watch, and you heard it here first. Feminists will soon begin the mantra
about how it violates the rights of women to choose to be a mother. I know I
have already heard it.
