Hi,
ARJ has never done that because we never INTENDED it to do that. ARJ and JAR
are aimed at specific application niches. These are powerful programs not
meant for novice-type use. We sell thousands of licenses per year, but a
large number of those are large site licenses. These type of sales require
little or NO technical support. You should see the tech support that PKWARE
has to provide. They get hundreds of requests each day. We get a few.
We get the satisfaction of developing and marketing a "famous" archiver
product, making an excellent living, and enjoying ourselves. We will keep
improving our products, but you will not see us make improvements aimed
solely at the general market.
Regards,
Robert
