NO BABIES ... SAVE THE PLANET
Meet Toni Vernelli, the woman who refuses to have children because they
contribute to global warming. She has been sterilized so that the
"terrible mistake of pregnancy should never happen again."
No surprise here. Toni works for an environmental charity. She says,
"Having children is selfish. It's all about maintaining your genetic
line at the expense of the planet ... Every person who is born uses more
food, more water, more land, more fossil fuels, more trees and produces
more rubbish, more pollution, more greenhouse gases, and adds to the
problem of over-population."
She says that she would consider adopting, this way she would be doing
something "positive" for the world, not something
"negative."
There is a good side to this story. Vernelli has taken herself out of the
gene pool. Having her womb disabled means that she is not going to begat
any more of her kind. Her particular mental defect stops with her.
Come to think of it ... how much better off would the world be in a
generation if more of these environmental moonbats would follow Toni's
lead!
