Well, they don't really argue it.  They just say it.  Or scream it.  Or

They really don't protect women's rights.  They do guard against other
crimes, like pimping or human trafficking, but they could just as
easily go after pimps and kidnappers, leaving prostitutes to their
business.  When they ban prostitution, they take an avenue from a woman
who considers prostitution easier and more lucrative than landscaping,
house cleaning, or working in a field.  They could bypass this and go
after pimps and kidnappers, thereby ensuring that ladies of the night
are acting freely, but they'd rather shut down the whole thing.  Why?
For the same reasons they oppose polygamy.  They believe they know
what's best for all women, and they hate the idea of men enjoying
themselves.
