-=> Quoting Jean Parrot to Nancy Backus on 01-02-08 10:25 <=- JP> Question ! When opening a .qwk to read, do you get the Y2K bug JP> on the listing of the different packets ? Mine shows 108 as the JP> date and is due to the 99 + 1 bug, I am sure. You're using the one that hubby fixed, I think. That is the kludge for post-Y2K dates. Before the fix, anything post-Y2K showed up as 10, whether it was 2000, 2001 or 2008, as there was only space for 2 numbers there, and it took the first two of the 99 + X, but not the one that really at least let one know which year it was. Now there's the capability for 3 numbers, so the year is shown as 100, 101, 108 etc for dates Y2K and following. ttyl neb ... Make it as simple as possible, but no simpler. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.20 --- SBBSecho 2.12-Win32* Origin: ::The Holodeck BBS:: telnet://holodeck.myip.us (1:261/1381) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 300 34/999 90/1 106/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 SEEN-BY: 222/2 226/0 236/150 249/303 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 SEEN-BY: 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 633/104 260 262 267 285 690/682 734 712/848 SEEN-BY: 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 2905/0 @PATH: 261/1381 38 633/260 267 |
