A MUM has been convicted of child abuse - for forcing her 12-year-old boy to
rob a bank.

Tamara Rivers admitted making son Rashard hand a cashier a note saying:
"Give me $30,000 or I will shoot you!"

The New York bank worker handed him the money. But Rashard was traced after
she admitted being in on the plot.

Police told the court the lad's life would have been at risk if armed
officers had arrived before he fled.

Rivers, 35, from Harlem, was jailed for four months.

The boy now lives with his gran.
