We are getting ready for a couple more court battles ourselves, first the one 
with the boys on the 16th of this month (falsely accused of molesting/raping
their sister) and then it looks like we may be filing a "Change in 
Circumstance" petition at the end of the month, so that we can once again
try to get our daughter home before June. If we can't get her home, at least
we may be able to eliminate the "supervised" visits and phone calls and have
normal visits and phone calls instead. Even that would be a drastic 
improvement. Luckily our counseling center is going to urge the courts to 
return our daughter as they feel that emotional damage is being done to her
by her forced stay in foster care, and the counselors feel that she has a
very loving and supportive home (ours) and that that's where she should be! 
I am working to try to help get enough support to pass a new bill here in 
California (you probably already read about it on one of my earlier posts)
but it is a tort liability for social workers, that would give them "limited
immunity" for their actions rather than "total immunity". :)   :)   :)   It
would be great to see that happen. We may not benefit directly, but it would
help keep other families from going through the grief we're going through,
and that would be worth it to me!
Anyone that has doubts about how much influence the government has in 
emoving
our parental rights should read "The Child Abuse Industry". I thought some of
it was a little bit on the fanatical side - especially when it talked about
classes that the kids would have on learning values (that may be opposed to
the values the parents want them to have) - BUT I asked my kids about it and
my kids have participated in those classes WITHOUT my knowledge and consent!
That really irks me! Now more and more schools are going with uniforms and 
it's starting to remind me of what happened in Russia. I have friends with
little kids (pre-school) and people from various agencies keep pestering my
friends about putting the kids into pre-school, and they WON'T let up! Why
do little tiny kids need to go to school? This is getting frightening.
It's not just the laws in North Carolina that are wrong, it's all over, and
not just in America either. Canada is having a horrible problem with the
Children's Aide Society. There are many countries experiencing these 
difficulties as well. It does need to change, and we need to work together to
make it happen. I too will keep up the fight for as long as it takes, and
so will my husband. Some of my children have volunteered to do what they can
to help as well. It has gotten to the point where they are afraid to grow up
and have children of their own, and they shouldn't have to feel that way.
Anyway, I'd better go. I'm getting on my high horse again and I didn't intend
to. Just wanted you to know basically that I support your efforts and look
forward to receiving information from you periodically.
