LP>AC> things. I finally went to a PPS Clinic in Dallas and that's went I
found
LP>AC> out about PPS and that I had it...I thought that I was losing my mind
LP>Sorry I've taken so long to respond, but I've been occupied with
LP>other things lately.
Funny....but you will find that most PPS people are some of the
most occupied people around..
LP>Thefirst sign of PPS I noticed was frequent and enduring fatigue
I am on Disability also. I'm just glad that SS finally reconized
that PPS was a Disability.....
LP>The second symptom I noticed was a weakening in my right knee. I
LP>haven't had to start wearing braces again, but I don't dare take
LP>its support for granted. When walking, I have to think about it
LP>and exert myself to keep from going down.
I know that feeling well. It is a mental stain to get the muscles to
work. I have found that if I am walking...if I stop for a moment or two
the muscles do relax and then I can go on for a little longer. They
seemed to tense up from the strain as I walk....
LP>And recently I'm discovering my hand is a little less cooperative
LP>all the time; I have to concentrate and go slowly with it. Being
LP>one-handed, this seems like the realization of my worst nightmares.
It seems to me that my mind is working overtime now that my body doesn't
co-operate as well as it useto.
LP>But enough of the dark stuff; I'm finding myself at ease with my
LP>fate for the first time in my life. I had a very near death
LP>experience about two years ago, and I'm learning that life truly
LP>is what you make of it.
That it is and has always been....we just have to work at it a little
harder.....
LP>I have my friends and family, books and
LP>music, and my writing (though much less of it lately; I no longer
LP>feel the need to prove myself).
I am a writer too...What do you write??? I haven't written in a while
now. I lost my husband and now I have remarried so my life has made a
lot of changes and I can't seem to get into the right Mind frame to
write...Expecially re-writes...Yuck....
LP>rain-laden Oregon winters, which is quite an accomplishment for a
LP>native Oregonian; we're all sun worshippers, but I think all the
LP>rain drumming on our heads has dimmed our wits, because we stay
LP>and wallow in our misery and the mud.
I am a sun worshipper too..But I love the rain...just not as much as
Oregon gets..HAHAHA. The rain drumming on your head probably doesn't dim
the wits, but causes you to stay in and get "Cabin Fever" Sound about
right????? {:) Good to hear from you and don't stay away so long next
time.....Hope you have a wonderful day today and a better one
tomorrow...Talk to you soon....See ya...
