I recently picked up a small freeware program called nonumeri.
Basically what this does is to cut out the tildes in filenames longer
than 8 characters - arjdirectory becomes arjdirec in dos, and not
arjdir~1.
I think this is an excellent program (for the eyes as much as anything
else), and would like to see this feature built into arj95 (-:
