Is the current TCP/IP connection option still broken in Maximus? If so, in
what ways?

I'll admit it was limited to a single connection at a time. I have some
thoughts about how that could be tweaked into spawning multiple copies of
maximus, but that will require a "special" setup of the control
files (similar to how I run with a single common maximus control file for
all my nodes under OS/2) and require automatic assignment of task ID
numbers....

But, I'm not in a position where I can touch the code right now....

Just thoughts.....
