One of the biggest accumulators of personal information on the planet is an
outfit called infoUSA (formerly known as 'American Business Lists'), which
is headquartered in Ralston, Nebraska (immediately adjacent to Omaha).
The outfit has a pretty good sized - and growing - data center in Carter
Lake, Iowa (which is also immediately adjacent to Omaha - and on the west
side of the Missouri to boot).  The company's founder and majority stock holder
is a fellow named Vinod Gupta.
