Since the UN is pretty important as far as international law, human rights, etc., goes, how do you plan to have a successful global economy with no rules or nobody to enforce them? > Once you get past your love affair with one of the most corrupt > originations on the face of the earth, (that's the U.N. in case you > forgot),if you show any sign that you might understand, we can move on to > what would be a better replacement for the UN. I have no love affair with the UN. I just don't write them off wholesale, simply because the western nations like to obstruct the UN's progress. What's funny is that you see the UN as dangerous to our nation and to our nation's sovereignty, yet, you'd support a UN replacement? Just what would this replacement do that would never infringe on a nation's soveriengty? The very idea of government itself infringes on our rights. We give up some of our rights to the government, so we can create a more cohesive, consistent society where everyone should flourish. I don't see the UN (or any other international governing body) as anything different, provided they're allowed to actually do what they're intended to do. -- Daniel --- SBBSecho 2.12-FreeBSD* Origin: :: The Realm of Dreams :: bbs.mysticone.com (1:112/10) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/300 34/999 90/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 226/0 249/303 SEEN-BY: 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1417 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 633/260 267 285 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 2905/0 @PATH: 112/10 123/500 261/38 633/260 267 |
