My SupraFAXModem 14.4 can retrain. In fact, on one or two real bad
connections, the display has shown RT. I asked my local sysOp, which
also runs a Supra what that meant and he said it meant "ReTrain".

Nope, I upload 5+ megs to my friends BBS everyday. Plus I call about 20
local BBSes for mail and door games EVERYDAY. Its fine for me.
No doubt 28.8 would be faster, but this is fine at least for me.
