Hello Eric!
Yes, COMMAND$ does not work under OS/2 in the IDE. But that a small price to
pay for the use of PowerBASIC.
I just left my wonderful platform "OS/2" and went in to plain old DOS to give
COMMAND$ a test in the IDE. YES! It does work in plain old DOS, ver 6.2.
As far as passing parameters via command line to PowerBASIC under OS/2, I
have never had a problem with any software written by me and compile with
PowerBASIC. I'm also running IBM peer to peer, PowerBASIC and software
compiled under PowerBASIC runs fine across the net. The only problem I have
ever had in opening of files was when I used the DOS APPEND function under
OS/2.
