Ahhhh. That is a problem. Perhaps she will do it for praise and a head
scratch. If so, lucky you. Think of all the money you will save on
sunflower seeds! The hardest part of training a bird to do what you want is
to motivate them. Maybe in time the praise and head scratch will work...or
maybe she will develop a passion for a certain food. You may not ever be able
to train her to fly to you, but over time, you will discover little things
she does on her own and then give a signal or word every time she does it and
reward her with food or praise. It is never too late to start training. I
started training my BFA Pepper when he was around 7 years old. He now does
