Well, since it's the _Windows_ API and all three products allow to to tap
into it in someway, you can do just about anything that can be accomplished
with a single API call. For example, I've got API tricks for automatically
accepting dialog boxes when they appear (or automatically cancelling them),
for tiling Windows horizontally, for calling the messageBox function, for
playing sound files, for enumerating the entire Windows desktop, and so
rth.
You might look for a book called "Windows Programming for Non-Programmers"
by Woody Leonhard (no relation, note the spelling difference). While he uses
WordBasic and VisBasic, each of the the calls that he describes can be
expressed in anything that lets you prototype direct API calls. In fact,
that's the book I used to learn some of the idocyncracies of the API, though
I rewrote his code samples in ObjectPAL.
Be warned, though, his writing style is somewhat, ah, irreverant. If you
enjoy that, it's a pretty fun book (though some of his puns are
unforgiveable). If you want hard news, though, you might find the writing
style a little juvenile. It all depends on your sense of humor.
Hope this helps...
