cd /opt
rm -rf maximus
tar zxf max-3.03-etc.tar.gz
rm maxbuild?.log
rm maxbuild?.err
./getmax
./cfgmax
./compmax
cd /opt


this way, there's nothing left /at all/ from previous attempts...
