Hi,
I run WildCat! 4.2 Multiline 10 under OS/2 Warp version 3 with FrontDoor 2.12
SW ( registered ) and FrontDoor 2.02 N.C. with InterEcho 1.19 as my mail
processor.
I'm looking to import some additional UseNet newsgroups into the BBS without
further expenditure on either expensive UUCP feeds or costly MSI software (
wcGATE ). I would like to use my SMTP connection to receive USENet and then
use a mail processor ( such as Watergate ) to import the the newsgroups into
*.msg folders before using InterEcho to toss the *.msg to WildCat! ( well,
that's the way that I see it anyhow ). I am wondering if anyone else has
arrived at a solution for this ... ?
I must admit that I'm more interested in information on the establishing the
PPP connection and receiving of Usenet newsgroups via DOS programs than the
actual mail processing but any advice will be gratefully received ...
Until Next Now ....
Nigel.
