No...I Need 5.1+
Cant be anything else But..
(anyone???)

snifff..this would be great.

Never got those letters which is why I am responding here in the echo as
well. There are other features that 5.1+ does do, like shell out to dos with
a lower amount of memory consumed and it uses far less memory to begin with.
remember...what I try to do is take old machines given to me and make the
work as well as possible for people with HIV or AIDS.
I have found that 5.1+ is:
- very speedy from 486's DOWN to 8088's and all machines in between.
- Can FAX from Pokey old machines with a reliable fax modem
( I made a funny!)
- Can have psudo Menu's by using the Network feature and allow up to
5 letters to boot. this means I could add a screen with LARGE LETTERS
for Visually Imparred by/to my own design
I have to get 5.1+
JA> Can't help you. FWIW, you probably can accomplish this through
JA> your fax software rather than beating your head against the wall
JA> looking for 5.1+.
that actually WAS the fun part.
JA> I do have a few copies of 5.1 and I'd be willing to negotiate a

ha.....hahaha....hahaha...a 486 board.....and...72 pin SimmsHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH
nope. none here.
JA> Hope this helps.
no but I do appreciatte your trying to get thru to me till you finally did.
the people I dealt with commercially could take a lesson from a private
individual.
JA> Take Care,
JA> John
