Well, usually to get tech support from any company you have to have proof
that you have registered their programs. When you fill out and send that
card that comes with the program in the mail, you name is then in their
computer systems to make you eligable for tech support. What programming
language do you use for Windows programming. Because usually in the
documentation of the program, they give you support numbers and address where
you can reach them.
Also, some companies like Microsoft will charge you for Tech support.
In the Visual Basic 4.0 For Windows manual it tells you to go to their web
site at www.mmicrosoft,com and access the knowledge base and software
brary.
However, the manual does not give any e-mail address that you can get support
from. The reason why they may not have an e-mail address that you can get
tech support from is because there would be too many people e-mailing them,
and they wouldn't be able to keep up with all of the messages.
Quoting Adam Majer To All:
Could anyone post a Microsoft's technical (or better yet, programming)
support e-mail address. I don't have Internet yet and I need to contanct
Microsoft regarding Window's programming. Thanx in advance.
