As a matter of pride in workmanship, I have no dealings with any vendor 
which ever offered an RPI modem to anyone, so far I have heard of no rumor 
why I should change my opinion.  The only excuse anyone has ever come up 
with is cost, which makes no sense.  (It is cheaper to buy broken 
monitors, but WOULD you?)
