  Thank goodness for some of the "quick memory things"...such as
"the color
codes for the resistors", and "Eli The Ice Man". But, one
does have to do
some memorizing...especially on the frequencies, privileges, and formulas.

  When I was studying for the Amateur Extra test, I figured out that 2 of 
the answers were never right. I got to where I could look at the mathematical
notation of the formula, and I could tell whether the voltage was leading or
lagging the current...and based on the answers available, I solved that
question. :)

  But, it's a good thing that renewing ones license doesn't mean re-testing.
Otherwise, ham radio would have died out long ago.
