European men tell me that they often think nothing of hitting
on married women while Americans are a bit more prudish. I think
a lot of it has to do with the fact that Americans have a reputation
for getting violent when the wedding vows are broken.

I just thought of another point that needs to be made:
We shouldn't run into parg's trap that she's "won" and now American
women are largely all feminized man haters. To her credit, this
has been achieved with the "jerry springer" set and with the
bourgeois ivory tower types.
But there are a lot of very sweet, practical, and even attractive
"republican" working class women out there often in rural areas
but also often in the cities working at jobs that "Sex
and the City" types sneer at: retail or factory work.
The problem is that such women are often invisible to men
such as us because they go to work and go home and we don't
see them. They don't get on the internet that much. It's
the spoiled rich girls who have time and expertise to
go online and write an advert for a "rich, liberated,
good looking man whose non-judgemental".

Don't call her Russian! :-)
I reminded her of this but she wanted one since they're becoming
popular along with Valentine's day.

Actually, she's probably depressed because few men would want
to rape an old woman such as herself. I'm reminded of people
who buy expensive cars and then worry endlessly about them being
stolen...

Indeed. This is largely the democratic party's electorate at this
point: The VERY VERY poor and the ivory tower rich who
talk about national health care and pay their maids
$4 an hour.
Even Parg works as a pizza shop clerk pretending that she's
grand and important because she rails against "oppressor" men.
