Original description:
Muse_studio, originated by Claire Brunetti (where did she go?) to handle
poetry, used to have about fifteen messages a day. For all types of
poetry. Poems under 100 lines were critted on the list.
Competitor poetry_workshop, run by somebody whose name escapes me (he acted
like a twit for extended periods on this list and was banished, yet I can't
remember his name--Andrew something, I think--he and Hossie got into it,
bad), may or may not still exist on the FidoNet backbone. There are also
other Internet poetry lists. *BUT* poetry lists are notorious for having
bad, bad, BAD poems and similarly angry poets on them. You might have to
read through lots of bad Rod McKuen imitations or even Vogon poetry before
you find something helpful. However, if there's no activity and
everybody's gone home, I don't know if you'll even find Vogon poetry.
Reportedly, there are websites for poetry workshopping. You could search
on Google or Dogpile and see what turns up. (Same caveat applies.)
