MR> Is 2.30 the 386 version? How did George package that? Was it like 2 MR> exe's in one or was the 386 version a totally different package. 2.20 and then 2.30 came in three distinct versions, separate packages. There was _DOS, _386 and _OS2. The 386 version was 32-bit, and had access to more memory so could handle longer messages. It required a separate registration from the DOS or the OS2 versions. I never used the _386 version, as the straight DOS one was sufficient for my needs. MR> I registered all my BW stuff, but lost my reg for the copy of the 386 MR> version. I tried the crack ( I hope I don't disappoint anybody ( no MR> disrespect to George, as I always registered all my bw stuff including MR> the doors to run the BBS.) I just could not get it too work. I thought MR> it might timeslice better. There really isn't much difference in functionality between _DOS and _386, from what I heard. I dug up an old FAQ to check my memory. Dunno anything about timeslicing, though. :) ttyl neb ...
