RC> EH>> The site uses Verisign for security for one thing. They ask RC> EH>> for your SSN to make sure it is you. RC> SK> Which is illegal. The law changed years ago. Places can NOT use RC> SK> SSNs as identification! Not that they don't. RC>Well I certainly couldnt pull a copy of my report with your SSN! The fact that they use SSN's as identification is the very point though. After all, one's credit rating has absolutely NOTHING to do with SSI. What other identifier they could use is a problem that could be solved rather easily. Just assign people credit rating I.D. numbers. RC> SK> Ross was correct and informed. You aren't. RC>No he is not and apparently neither are you, I used RC>annualcreditreport.com, it is tasked by the govt to provide RC>one a free copy of their report from the 3 agencies. Hey, just because you disagree doesn't innately infer that I'm wrong and you're right. ;) Now, about that free credit report thing, I WAS less than fully informed. But that only means that what I advocated actually already occurs, and that's cool with me.
