The fact that they use SSN's as identification is the very point though.
After all, one's credit rating has absolutely NOTHING to do with SSI.

What other identifier they could use is a problem that could be solved 
rather easily. Just assign people credit rating I.D. numbers.

Hey, just because you disagree doesn't innately infer that I'm wrong and

Now, about that free credit report thing, I WAS less than fully 
informed. But that only means that what I advocated actually already 
occurs, and that's cool with me.
