subject: Return of the mystery pain

Last summer I began having pain in the area of my navel; it seemed like it
may be gall bladder (gall bladder pain is often 'referred' to the middle of
the abdomen). Tests were run which showed nothing conclusive. The pain
went away.

Now it's back. Last night it was awful, to the point that I didn't get to
sleep at all until about 8 a.m., when the pain finally began to slack off.

It's been a not-quite-so-dull ache most of the day, with occasional pangs
of rather sharp pain. No other symptoms are present.

It's puzzling and irritating -- wish we could find out what the hell.

So I may be off and on here for a while. Guess I'll have to go back to my
doctor, though there doesn't seem to be much of an idea of what this is.
It doesn't seem to be related to food. It occurs at different times and
seems unrelated to when or what I eat.

Argh. This kind of mystery is no fun.

Veloci--gettin' old is hell--raptor
